Founder + mentor workflow test

Test TrustStone from invite to relationship signal.

Use this guide to walk a new admin through the core Summerfest workflow: invite a founder, invite a mentor, match them, schedule a session, capture post-session data, and review the resulting admin signals.

Step 1

Start In Control Room

Log in as an admin and open Control Room. This is the operator view for invites, cohort counts, manual matches, approvals, flagged sessions, and roster data.

Founder and mentor counts are visible
Invites and claim status panel loads
Manual matching panel is available
Cohort roster shows existing users

Step 2

Create A Founder Invite

Open Invites, choose Founder, enter a test name and email, pick 2-3 routing tags, keep admin approval enabled, and create the network-scoped invite.

Claim link starts with https://truststone.io
QR code renders
Invite expiration is shown
Claim link opens in an incognito window

Step 3

Create A Mentor Invite

Repeat the invite flow with the Mentor role. Use tags that overlap with the founder, such as Fundraising, Product Strategy, or Customer Discovery.

Mentor claim flow completes
Expertise and availability can be entered
Mentor dashboard loads after signup
Public mentor card can be copied

Step 4

Match Founder + Mentor

Return to Control Room and use Manual matching. Select the test founder, select the test mentor, add a rationale, and create the Summerfest match.

Match is created without an error
Founder dashboard shows matched mentor
Mentor dashboard shows matched founder team
Relationship card is created for the pair

Workflow Verification

Run these once the founder and mentor accounts exist.

Step 1

Founder Workflow

Log in as the founder and review the Founder Dashboard. This is where company state, priorities, help areas, readiness signals, mentor match, and discovery notes come together.

Founder card shows company, priority, and need areas
Readiness score and signal data are visible
Matched mentor and match rationale appear
Discovery Notes allows a structured note

Step 2

Mentor Workflow

Log in as the mentor and review the Mentor Dashboard. The mentor should see matched founder teams, company context, rationale, upcoming sessions, and responsibility prompts.

Matched founder team appears
Company or priority context is visible
Schedule button opens the session form
Mentor card fields reflect the claimed profile

Step 3

Session Contract

From either dashboard, schedule a session. Capture the topic, date and time, situation, key tension, and notes so both sides share the same context before meeting.

Session saves successfully
Calendar link opens
Upcoming session appears on mentor dashboard
Founder dashboard shows the next session contract

Step 4

Post-Session Signals

After the scheduled time has passed, submit post-session records from founder and mentor accounts. Test one aligned session and one concern or mismatch session.

Founder can submit commitment summary
Mentor can submit a separate commitment summary
Admin follow-up flag can be selected
Control Room shows flagged relationship signals

Sample Data

Founder name

Test Founder

Founder tags

Fundraising, Product Strategy, Customer Discovery

Founder priority

Validate investor narrative before demo day

Mentor name

Test Mentor

Mentor expertise

Go-to-market, fundraising, customer discovery

Match rationale

Mentor has GTM and fundraising experience that maps to the founder current priority.

Session situation

Founder is preparing for three investor meetings and needs sharper evidence of customer pull.

Key tension

The product is resonating, but the sales motion and proof points are still fuzzy.

Best Demo Path

Create one clean session and one session with a concern or commitment mismatch. That gives the admin a clear view of normal relationship tracking and the higher-value signal monitoring in Control Room.
